Weather Forecasters On Global Warming (By:Thomas Lin)

link to article

In the article Weather Forecasters on Global warming, there is two deifferent sides. The meteorologists are saying the weather is from global warming but the climate scientiests are saying the weather is not from global warming. Meteorologists study short term weather but climate scientiests study long term weather patterns. people are more prone to believing that the weather is from global warming because they hear from the meteorologists in the morning, not from the climate scientiests. “Meteorologists are far more likely than climatologists to question the science of climate change.” On San Diego’s KUSI News, John Coleman, co-founder of the Weather Channel, reported, “Mankind is not destroying our planet.” Bill O’Reilly invited Bill Nye (“The Science Guy”) and Joe Bastardi, an AccuWeather to have there debate.

The argument is effectively supported because there is videos of the debate and they explain why its not global warming and why it could be global warming. There is alot of supporting quotes in the article that is mainly bias to people who believe it is not global warming. It reaches all audiences, for it and against it because it has quotes of scientiest who say its not global warming and they have quotes from meteorologists saying that its arrogant to say that meteorologists convince people that there is global warming.

This article made me feel that meteorlogists do make people think there is global warming because everyone watches the weather channel and what ever the weather man says about the forcast, is what everyone is going to believe. The climate scientists are not being able to get there long term research in the hands of the media; therefore, the weather mens global warming is taking everyones opinion. I read in a blog some where that a hacker found emails that global warming is made up and co2 cannot cause global warming. I personaly think the weather change is from the earth moving closer to the sun.
